<br /> <br /> <br />University City Commission On Arts and Letters <br />Minutes <br />September 13, 2005 <br /> <br />Attendees: <br /> Leland Barber <br /> Robert Bernstein <br /> Jane Brownstone <br /> Emily Kelly <br /> Lisa Mandel <br /> Traci Moore-Clay <br /> Barbara Santoro <br /> Calla Smorodin <br /> Phyllis Weber <br /> Jo Anne Zach <br /> <br />New Commissioner <br />: Adelia Parker-Castro <br /> <br />Staff Liaison: <br /> Cheryl Thompson <br /> <br />City Council Liaison: <br /> Francine Brungardt <br /> <br />Visitors: <br /> Harriet Lander <br /> Jay Fram <br /> Monica McFee <br /> Jo Seltzer <br /> Mary Schuman <br /> Bob Winters <br /> <br />Traci Moore-Clay, President, called the meeting to order at 7:17 p.m. <br /> <br />The following introductions were made: Adelia Parker-Castro soon to be appointed as Commissioner; <br />former Commissioners Bob Winters, Harriet Lander, Jo Seltzer, and Mary Schuman; Monica McFee, Public <br />Realtions Manager with University City; Jay Fram, photographer. <br /> <br />Minutes: <br />The July minutes are not complete and will be presented at a later meeting. <br /> <br />Treasurer’s report <br />: The Commission’s Annual Financial Report was presented, along with a spread sheet <br />that was compiled by Systematic Office Solutions from resigned treasurer Jean Markus’ records. Calla <br />Smorodin believes corrections need to be made concerning the Returning Artist revenues and expenditures. <br />She will make corrections and forward them to Cheryl Thompson. Cheryl reported that the Commission <br />raised $560 from the concert raffles, despite having three concerts rained out. A special thanks was given to <br />Leland Barber who sold raffle tickets at each concert. <br /> <br />Councilmember’s Report: <br />A full report was deferred because of the full agenda. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
