will be distributed to Washington University, University City Public Library, and the <br />Historical Society of University City and of Missouri. <br /> <br />Guided Tour: <br /> Ron Fondaw gave a tour through the Lewis center. Tour included the <br />BFA studios, graphic design, metals, and woodshop. <br /> <br />Minutes: <br />October minutes were reviewed. Barbara made a motion as corrected. Emily <br />seconded that motion. <br /> <br />Treasure’s Report: <br /> Accepted <br /> <br />City Council Report: <br /> Francine talked about Frank Olendorff for city manager. Hoping <br />th <br />for July 14 retirement. By 7/1/06 they want a “town hall” meeting for input from <br />citizens for city manager position. <br /> <br />Carl Sofe’s studio kids want to install a serpentine sculpture in front of the post office on <br />the corner of Kingsland and Delmar. It will be a permanent structure. Arts & Letters was <br />not notified that it was being built before they got permission from Parks and Forestry. <br />Francine will notify the City Manager that Arts & Letters was not notified. <br /> <br />Calendar: <br />Going to print Friday 11/11/05. The mock-up was passed around and <br />discussed. New images of City Hall were added and titles will be emailed to the <br />commission for selection. <br /> <br />th <br />Returning Artist Series Report: <br />February 6 was suggested for the date for the opening <br />reception. This will be announced in the December City Scape. Calla will look into <br />putting the event on the RAC calendar and see if it can be held in the Rotunda of City <br />Hall. Will need permission for liquor license. <br /> <br />Sculpture Series: <br /> Lisa Mandel and Robert Bernstein are Co-Chairs for the sculpture <br />series this year. A discussion followed proposal provided by student Anne Hirsch about <br />the Dance through the loop. There is some interest in participation if there will also be <br />participation from the Wash U community. Further clarification will be needed. <br /> <br />Photo Show: <br /> Jane Brownstone had a meeting with Barbara Santoro. Notices will be sent <br />out to schools and members of commission and council. <br /> <br />Nominating Committee: <br />A notice was sent out by Emily Kelly. Jane Brownstone will <br />remain Vice President. The slate was presented. <br />After a motion we decided that Jane Brownstone will be Vice President, Lisa Mandel as <br />Treasurer and Emily Kelly as Secretary. Barbara Santoro Seconded that motion. The <br />presidents position is open until the December meeting. <br /> <br />Cheryl will need someone to post the RAC Calendar events for 2006. <br /> <br /> <br />
