Commerce
Bank donated $250.00 for Award.

A request for a donation of three pieces of the glass that the commission owes from the Glass
Blowing Returning Artist Series to benefit the U. City Education Foundation’s Auction. A
nd
motion was made by Barbara Santoro and 2 by Leland Barber to approve this request. All
members voted aye. Motion was carried.

Old Business – Clayton Art Commission – Clayton Art Consortium has announced that they will
be posting the previously published curriculum kit on line at www.stlpac.org. The commission
received an invoice from them for their previous commitment for this effort. Due to the fact some
members of the commission did not remember that this had been approved during a meeting in
2005, Cheryl stated she would research this to confirm this had been approved. She will notify
Lisa Mandel, treasurer to pay this bill if she can confirm this approval.

It has been noted and commented on that the Centennial Calendar is hard to read because of the
number sequencing and the print is too light it was also mentioned that some concerns have been
voiced about the size of the blocks not being big enough to write in.

New Business:

Cheryl will bring the Summer Concert series line up next month. Bob Winters has once again
confirmed that OWH will design the poster for the concerts. Llast years sponsors have been
notified to ask if they would once again be willing to sponsor the series for a price of $150 which
helps to offset the cost of handbills. UPS has stated they will not be able to sponsor the concerts
again this year. Cheryl asked if anyone had any ideas for additional sponsors. Lisa volunteered to
approach Caldwell/Baker to ask if they would be willing to help sponsor the concerts. Cheryl
stated that we will need $150 from each sponsor and a copy of their logo for the posters and
handbills. All donations that are solicited over the handbill cost goes toward printing the posters.

nd
A motion to adjourn the meeting was by Lisa, and 2 by Robert.
