No <br />action was taken, and Ms. Brot agreed to follow up with the Secretary, Emily Kelly. <br />Her concern with clarity was in relation to the Ward 2 Council seat which will be up for <br />special election in April. Council elected to utilize a lottery system to identify the <br />candidate receiving first place on ballot during the next election. The December minutes <br />th <br />the 16th <br />state that the 17 was the final day for submittal, Ms. Brot wanted to clarify that <br />of January is the correct date. <br /> <br /> <br />She also wished to clarify the statement regarding the local sales tax approved in August <br />for 1/4 of 1%. Tax collection began in January, 2007. <br /> <br /> <br />
