Introduced to the Commission by Barbara Santoro, <br />President. <br /> <br />March ’09 Meeting Minutes <br />Minutes were approved with the following revisions: <br />Motion to approve by Diane Davenport, seconded by Adelia <br /> <br />1.Terry Crow in attendance. <br /> <br />2.Diane Davenport, excused absence <br /> <br />3.Lisa “reminded” <br /> <br />4.Council members Report “services” <br /> <br />5.Treasurers Report discussed and distributed. Lisa announced that check had not been deposited <br />yet – it does not show up on the Sculpture Series Funds. <br /> <br />6.“CALOP” applications are being accepted. <br /> <br />7.Sculpture Series - Julie Bianchi. <br /> <br />Treasurers Report – Lisa Greening (excused) <br /> No Report due to absence. <br /> <br /> City Council Liason – Terry Crow <br /> <br />1.Budget concerns <br /> <br />a.There will be a citizen survey to stimulate citizen comments regarding budget choices <br /> <br />b.Some options to consider: <br /> <br />i.Service reductions <br /> <br />ii.Sales tax proposal <br /> <br />iii.Use of reserves, currently at 22% (well above required reserve for a city of <br />our size. <br />2. New development at Kingsland and Vernon <br />a. up to 90 living units at Kingsland and Vernon. <br /> 3. Update of Property owned by City at North and South and Olive at Weingarten Dress Shop <br /> 4. Update on City response to September flooding <br /> <br />
