Memorandum, 11-20-91 Board of Adjustment Meeting Page 2 <br />CASE #2307 - REQUEST FOR CONTINUANCE OF PREVIOUSLY RESCHEDULED <br />HEARING TO JANUARY MEETING FOR 7200 TULANE, CHRIS RHOADES <br />Chris Rhoades requested a continuance of the previously rescheduled November 20, 1991 Public <br />Hearing to the January meeting, so that he may revise his application. The continuance was granted <br />by a vote of 4 - 0, with the condition that the applicant reimburse the City for the expenses involved <br />in re-publishing and mailing notice. <br />CASE #2310 - SIDE YARD VARIANCES FOR GAZEBO AND SHED AND DISTANCE <br />BETWEEN STRUCTURES VARIANCE FOR SHED AT 8165 AMHERST, GERALDINE <br />BINION <br />Geraldine Binion requested a variance of Section 34-30.3(c) and 34-52.5(c) in order to permit <br />construction of a gazebo reducing the 6' side yard requirement to 1.5', and in order to construct a <br />shed reducing the 6' side yard requirement to .5' and reducing the 10' distance between structures <br />requirement to 6' at 8165 Amherst. The variance was granted by a vote of 4 - 0. <br />CASE #2312 - REAR YARD VARIANCE FOR REAR ADDITION AT 8601 ROWLAND, <br />THOMAS CONSTRUCTION REPRESENTING LAWRENCE STATON <br />Thomas Construction representing Lawrence Staton requested a variance of Section 34-30.3(d) in <br />order to permit construction of a rear addition to the house reducing the 30' rear yard requirement <br />to 26' at 8601 Rowland. The variance was granted by a vote of 4 - 0. <br />CASE #2313 - SIDE YARD VARIANCE FOR CARPORT AT 1434 WALDRON, PHILLIP <br />HANDELMAN REPRESENTING SAINT AND MATTHEW JONES <br />Phillip Handelman representing Saint and Matthew Jones requested a variance of Section 34-30.3(c) <br />in order to permit construction of a carport reducing the 6' side yard requirement to 2' at 1434 <br />Waldron. The variance was denied by a vote of 2 - 2. <br />CASE #2314 - SIDE YARD VARIANCE FOR REAR ADDITION AT 7264 NORTHMOOR, <br />ANNE AND SCOTT DINE <br />Anne and Scott Dine requested a variance of Section 34-30.3(c) in order to permit construction of <br />a rear addition reducing the 6' side yard requirement to 5'9" at 7264 Northmoor.
