Session 1747 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />February 22, 1999 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chamber of <br />City Hall on Monday, February 22, 1999, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were <br />present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Mr. Wayne I. Munkel <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman <br />Mr. Paul Schoomer <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the minutes for the special meeting of January 25, 1999. <br />Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval of the minutes for the regular meeting of February 8, 1999. <br />Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - SUPPORT FOR THE 911 WIRELESS REFERENDUM - PROP A: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams said that this resolution gives City Council support for Proposition A on the <br />April 6, 1999 ballot. This referendum would effect people with cellular phones. There is a <br />push to be able to utilize 911 nationwide, and this Proposition will help this to happen in <br />the state of Missouri. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved adoption of the resolution. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the appointment of Ms. Catherine Smith, 7041 Kingsbury Blvd., to the <br />Uniformed and Non°Uniformed Employees Pension Boards for an unexpired term ending <br />July 1, 1999. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
