HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION MEETING

The Commission adjourned and went into Executive Session to discuss
the consultant selection for the City Hall Restoration Project.
Staff had analyzed two proposals, Kimble A.Cohn and Trivers
Associates. Staff recommended that
Trivers Associates be awarded the contract. Commission members Palley,
Heise and Bowser concurred with staff recommendation. Commission
member Steuterman favored Kimble A.Cohn.

12. Councilman Lieberman updated the Commission on City Council activities,
in particular property records maintenance, dog park and the
decision not to require construction fences.

13. It was determined that a sign up sheet for public comments would be
helpful and eliminate the comment fi:om members sitting around the
table and participating directly in the Commission discussion as
though they were members of the Commission. This is a
disruptive practice. In addition it was agreed that the agenda and minutes
were to be forwarded to Commission members one week in advance of
the meeting.

14. Meeting adjourned at 9:10 P.M.

Page 4
