Discussion: Health issues and the FCC rules. Tabled until the October meeting to have the cell <br />company come and address concerns. <br /> <br />Recreation Club Fees <br />After a brief discussion and a suggestion by Vice President Palmer to use 33% & 66% as <br />percentages for the scholarship program, Mr. Smorodin motioned to accept the staff <br />recommendation including requested changes. Mr Mosley seconded. vote - unanimous <br /> <br />Golf Feasibility Study Recommendation <br />President Dee introduced the agenda item and stated he “wants the best for Ruth Park”. <br />Reviewed the proposal for Map E and the lights. Ms. MacCartney discussed foot candles. <br /> <br />Citizen Comments: James McHenry – against <br /> Acme Price – against <br /> Ray Davis – In favor <br /> Robert Williams – against <br /> William Feld – against <br /> Mike Jersey – In favor <br /> Jerry Kline – In favor <br /> Ed Shaker – In favor <br /> Bob Willard – In favor <br /> Ethan Suban – against <br /> Keith Moody – In favor <br /> Mr. Ford – In favor <br /> Gary Menelbaum – against <br /> <br />After a discussion Mr. Smorodin motioned to adopt the staff recommendation for adopting the <br />Master Plan with lights on the teaching center and the fees for buckets of golf balls. Mr. Sutton <br />seconded. vote - unanimous <br /> <br />Individual Park Reports <br />?Vice President Palmer reported he appreciated quick response on bees at <br /> <br />Mooney Park <br /> <br />?Ms. Hart reported that there were some concerns about the road side next to <br /> <br />pool otherwise, the Heman Park looks good. <br /> <br />?Mr. Mitchell reported Lewis Park looks nice only concern is twigs in the pond. Ms. <br /> <br />Brungardt the woodchip in Lewis Park are too shallow. <br /> <br />?Mr. Sutton reported Majerus Park looks nice. <br /> <br /> <br />?Mr. Smorodin reported Greensfelder Park playground looks good. He also <br /> <br />reported Fogerty Park looks good and the driveway was finished. <br /> <br />?Mr. Seltzer reported that Kaufman Park looks fine. <br /> <br /> <br />Council Liaison Report <br />Ms.Brungardt reported that City Council approved the recommendation tennis court <br />grant proposal. She also reported the after school program fees were not approved. <br /> <br />New Business <br /> <br />
