Individual Park Reports John Sweeney Flynn Park-Tennis courts open, look great, People already using them Lewis- All is well at this park Adams- Not much going on at this park Gwendolyn Gaines-Majerus- No report Beckwith Eastgate- Park is well used and often used Jerry Fitch Ruth Park- U City Parks Foundation donated a new sign that is by the covered shelter ; the out of bounds barriers by #3 need to be moved more south; the fairways look good and very plush Linda Peoples Fogerty- Noticed people playing tennis Greensfelder- Park is nice but drainage issue can be seen after rains Karen Palmer Mooney- Nothing new to report on Mooney. Mentioned new sign at Ruth Park Karen Dille Heman- No report- absent Livingston Sykes Kaufman- Park is fine Mona Terrace- There are a few tree branches down but no other problems Caryn St. Clair Miller Rabe- Absent, no report William Field Metcalf- Park is not used much but is in good condition Ackert- Park is not used much either, but looks in good condition Commented that range lights are getting beat up and brought up use of bunker lights. Unfinished Business Mr. Fields raised the issue of revenue reports. He requests that expense report for Ruth Park be provided. He states he has researched this and has referred to the charter. His request is not supported by the members, no motions made. New Business  Question as to Charter and if it is in alignment with duties of Park Commission. After Parks tour in June Mr. Field spoke about Park Commission and what this group is charged to do. He feels that commission should be involved in approval of things (structures, etc.) that go up in the parks. Discussion, questions, and answers follow.  *Citizen Comment from Mr. Acme Price revisited. Suggestion to make a phone call to Mr. Price regarding the resident ID cared. No phone call will be mailed. Mr. Fitch agrees that letter will be drafted to Mr. Price to address his concern.  Golf Report- Mr. Fitch suggests that line items that continually have “0” balance be omitted from report. This will be taken care of for next report.  Annual Park Commission Outing date suggested. Ms. Robinson will email information and get RSVPs.  Ms. Peoples remind that everyone must remain professional and respectful when others comment, even if they have opposing views. Ms. Peoples made a motion that meeting be adjourned. Ms. Gaines-Beckwith seconds. Meeting adjourned at 7:50 pm.
