<br />Park Commission Minutes – 111810 <br />pg. 2 <br /> <br /> <br />Ms. Palmer moved to accept the nonresident Heman Pool/Natatorium combo pass fee structure as follows: <br /> <br />$116 for youth, $146 for adults, $116 for seniors and $228 for families. Ms. Peoples seconded. Ms. <br />Peoples questioned how many family members would a family pass include. Ms. MacCartney indicated <br />our policy provides for up to 4 family members; an additional $25 per family member is charged for five or <br />more. Vote taken: All approved – Motion passed. <br /> <br /> <br />Ms. St. Clair moved to accept the nonresident Natatorium 10 visit card fee of $30 and the 20 visit card fee <br /> <br />of $60 – regardless of age. Ms. Palmer seconded. Vote taken: All approved – Motion passed. <br /> <br />Regarding the nonresident picnic pavilion fees, Ms. MacCartney indicated resident usage maxes out pavilion <br />availability and recommends the proposed nonresident pavilion rental fee of $100. Ms. St. Clair moved to <br />implement the proposed fee as presented. Ms. Palmer seconded. Vote taken: All approved – Motion passed. <br /> <br /> <br />FY 11-12 Budget Review <br />Ms. MacCartney provided a power point presentation of the 2011-12 Parks, Recreation and Forestry budget and gave <br />an in-depth overview of each division’s budget process, major capital outlay and process for determining direct and <br />indirect costs. Mr. Sweeney moved to approve the submitted fiscal year 2011-12 Park, Recreation and Forestry <br />budget. Ms. Gaines-Beckwith seconded. Vote taken: All approved – Motion passed. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Sweeney moved to adjourn. Ms. Palmer second. All in favor. <br /> <br />The meeting ended at 8:54 pm. <br /> <br />
