Washington <br /> <br />Council Liaison Present: Paul Schoomer <br /> <br />Staff Present: ~ Goldman, Director of Planning <br />Michelle Hilla~ City Planner <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />David Douglass made a motion to approve the minutes of December 20, 1984 as <br />submitted. Tim Rice seconded the motion which passed by a vote of 6-0. <br /> <br />Chairman Hamilton and members of the Commission welcomed Booker T. Washington <br />as a new member of the Commission. <br /> <br />REQUEST TO REZONE ~OQ4 PENNSYLVANIA <br /> <br />Willie Jammer, President of K.F.J. Manor, Incorporated, stated that he was <br />applying for the rezoning of the Mercy High School Convent at 1004 Pennsylvania, <br />from Public Activity (PA) to General Commercial (GC). He planned to convert the <br />convent to what the State of Missouri considers a Residential Care Facility or <br />nursing home. He said his firm was licensed by the State of Missouri to <br />operate these facilities and that they operated two in the City of st. Louis. <br /> <br />Chairman Hamilton asked Mr. Jammer if he knew what was going to happen to the <br />High School. Mr. Jammer did not know. Then Chairman Hamilton said the <br />Commission could procede with any questions they had. <br />
