<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />Minutes <br /> <br />June 26, 1985 <br /> <br />The Plan Commission of University City held its regular meeting in the <br />EOC Room of the City Hall on Wednesday, June 26, 1985, convening at <br />7:34 p.m. with Chairman Esley Hamilton presiding. <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE <br /> <br />Voting Members Present: <br /> <br />Voting Members Absent: <br /> <br />Esley Hamilton <br />David Douglass <br />Booker T. Washington <br />Matthew P. McCauley <br />Canice T. Rice, Jr. <br /> <br />Mary Schuman (excused) <br />Michael Kennedy <br /> <br />Council Liaison Present: <br /> <br />Paul Schoomer <br /> <br />Staff Present: Keona McMurry, Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. McCauley made a motion that the minutes of May 22, 1985 be approved <br />as submitted. Mr. Washington seconded the motion which passed by a <br />vote of 5-0. <br /> <br />REQUEST TO SUBDIVIDE A LOT BY WILLIE W. JAMMER. PRESIDENT. K.F.J. <br />MANOR. INCORPORATED <br /> <br />Mr. Jammer presented his request to subdivide the parcel of land which <br />is presently owned by the Archdiocese of St. Louis and occupied by the <br />Mercy High School and Convent buildings. He stated that the <br />organization he represents has a contract to purchase the convent <br />building at 1004 Pennsylvania and the adjoining land as indicated on <br />the survey that he submitted with his request for subdivision of the <br />parcel. Mr. Jammer said the corporation plans to convert the structure <br />into a residential care facility (convalescent home) and that he is <br />also there to make the presentation and answer any questions they may <br />have on his application for a Conditional Use Permit which is required <br />for this type of use in the "P-RO" District. After a brief discussion, <br />Mr. McCauley made a motion to recommend approval of the plat as <br />submitted. Mr. Washington seconded the motion which passed by a vote <br />of 5-0. <br />
