<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />Minutes <br /> <br />October 23, 1985 <br /> <br />The Plan Commission of University City held its regular meeting in Room 2 <br />on the second floor of City Hall on Wednesday, October 23, 1985, convening <br />at 7:40 p.m. with Chairman Esley Hamilton presiding. <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE <br /> <br />Voting Members Present: <br /> <br />Voting Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mary Cook <br />Esley Hamilton <br />Matthew T. Washington <br /> <br />Mary Schuman (Excused) <br />Michael Kennedy <br /> <br />Ex-officio Members Present: <br /> <br />Paul Schoomer, Councilmember <br />Al Goldman, Director of Planning <br /> <br />REQUEST TO RESUBDIVIDE A LOT AT 817 LEPERE <br /> <br />Mr. Goldman announced that this agenda item had been withdrawn at the <br />request of the applicant. <br /> <br />REQUEST TO REZONE PROPERTY ON WEST KINGSBURY AND BARBY LANE FROM SR TO <br />PR-O <br /> <br />Mr. David A. Smith presented his request to rezone the properties at 8616, <br />8620, 8624, 8621, and 8633 West Kingsbury; and the property at 8630 Barby <br />Lane from SR-Single Family Residential to PR-O-Planned Residential-Office. <br />He explained that the land for which rezoning is requested adjoins the <br />PR-O district which is located west of Highway 170 and north of the south <br />border of University City. He pointed out that there may be some question <br />as to the zoning of the east half of Lot 16 and that it should be included <br />with any action taken by the Plan Commission. Mr. Goldman was called upon <br />to explain the situation and he told the Commission that as far as he <br />could determine from the Zoning Map, the PR-O District did not include the <br />east half of Lot 16 although it is in the same ownership as the surround- <br />ing lots in the PR-O District. He advised the Plan Commission to include <br />this lot in the rezoning. <br /> <br />Mr. Smith continued with a general description of the proposed development <br />and told the Commission he would be submitting a Conditional Use <br />application in time for a hearing at the next Plan Commission meeting. He <br />also explained that it would be necessary to seek the vacation of a part <br />of West Kingsbury and McKnight Road. The Commission was told that access <br /> <br />., <br />
