PLAN COMMISSION Minutes May 7, 1986 The Plan Commission of University City held a special meeting in Room 2, City Hall on Wednesday, May 7, 1986 convening at 7:35 p.m. with Chairman Esley Hamilton presiding. ATTENDANCE Voting Members Present: Voting Members Absent: Mary Cook Esley Hamilton Matthew P. McCauley Canice T. Rice, Jr. Mary Schuman Booker T. Washington Michael Kennedy Staff present: Frank Ollendorff, City Manager; Al Goldman, Director of Planning; and Michelle Hillal, City Planner. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The following corrections were made to the minutes of the April IS, 1986 meeting: The sentence in the middle of the first paragraph of page 3 was changed to read "Mr. McCauley suggested that First Ward responses might be more favorable because of the activity of trustees in First Ward subdivisions." The word "he" was changed to "Ms. Cook" in the sentence dealing with UCRS in the first paragraph of page 4. In the second paragraph on page 4, the "National Register of Historic Buildings" was changed to the "National Register of Historic Places." The word "peoples" was changed to "popular" on page 5, first sentence of the second paragraph. Page 5, the fourth sentence of the third paragraph was changed to read "he felt that the objection to the wording of this alternative was semantic." There being no further corrections, Mr. Rice moved that the minutes of the April IS, 1986 meeting be approved as corrected. The motion was seconded and passed by a vote of 6-0. REZONING REQUEST FOR WEST KINGSBURY AND BARBY LANE Chairman Hamilton stated that although members of the Plan Commission had received the rezoning request for 8636 West Kingsbury, 8641 West Kingsbury, and 8634 Barby Lane; the matter would not be heard until the following meeting to permit the Plan Commission to deal with the plan changes in the McKnight Village proposal as well as the rezoning request.
