<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Minutes-Plan Commission <br />Page 7 <br />May 28, 1986 <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Chairman Hamilton stated that Mr. Rice and Mr. Washington had been reappointed to the <br />Plan Commission for terms expiring in 1989. He stated that Mayor Majerus had <br />appointed a new Commission liaison from City Council, Councilmember Joseph L. Adams, <br />Jr. He stated to Mr. Paul Schoomer, outgoing council liaison, that the Commission <br />appreciated his concern and attention to Plan Commission matters during his term as <br />liaison. <br /> <br />Mr. Goldman stated that Planning staff was waiting for Mr. Bill Obrock's landscaping <br />plan at 6900 Delmar, that parking was not planned for the front yard there and he <br />would update the Commission on this item when more information was available. <br /> <br />Mr. Rice stated that he wanted to bring to Planning staff's attention the undesirable <br />appearance of the Childgrove School's parking lot from Delmar Boulevard. He asked <br />Planning staff to bring this problem to the school's attention. <br /> <br />Ms. Schuman asked planning staff about the property on the southwest corner of <br />Kingsland and Vernon. She noted that the property was used as a parking lot with both <br />cars and large trailers parked there. Ms. Elwood stated that she had contacted the <br />owner of the property in order that he might properly apply for a conditional use <br />permit. His application would probably be on the Commission's June agenda. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Rice moved that the meeting be adjourned. Mr. Kennedy seconded the motion which <br />passed by a vote of 6-0. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:27 p.m. <br />
