.

.

Minutes - Plan Commission
Page 9
August 26, 1987

3. A sufficient number of trash containers shall be provided in the common
areas of the Market, both indoors and outdoors, to meet the needs of
disposing of containers, plates, cups, napkins, etc. from carry-out food
vendors. Such receptacles shall be emptied regularly.

4. Portable outdoor furniture owned by the operator, if any, shall be
removed and suitably stored whenever the Market is closed.

Mr. Kendall seconded the motion which passed by a vote of 6-1.

APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 233. A & M PIZZA.
INC. DBA DOMINO'S PIZZA AT 6963 OLIVE BOULEVARD

Chairman McCauley indicated that a public hearing had been scheduled on an
application by A & M Pizza, Inc. dba Domino's Pizza at the 6963 Olive
Boulevard location in order for the owner to expand the daily opening time to
11 a.m. for sales and delivery. No one was present to represent the
applicant; however, Mr. Ollendorff stated that the City had no objection to
an earlier opening time for the business, the only complaints that he had
received about the business were regarding their early morning deliveries of
supplies.

After further discussion, Ms. Kreishman moved that the Plan Commission
recommend approval of the application for the Conditional Use Permit
Amendment. Ms. Schuman seconded the motion which passed by a vote of 7-0.

OTHER BUSINESS

Chairman McCauley indicated that the Commission had received a proposal by a
subcommittee of the City Council regarding amendment of the truck parking
regulations of the Zoning Code and Municipal Code. He suggested that
Commission members familiarize themselves with this proposal as any text
amendment to the Zoning Code would require the recommendation of the Plan
Commission. Mr. Rice believed that the propos~d regulations would not allow
much more on-street truck parking than it does currently. Mr. Goldman stated
that this perception was correct; the only on-street truck parking allowed
under the proposal would be by families whose only vehicle was a truck.
Further discussion ensued regarding the proposed text amendment.

Chairman McCauley stated that the Plan Commission tour of the area between
Hanley and North & South and Delmar to the city limits was informative and
suggested that the Plan Commission discuss this area with regard to the "PD"-
Planned Development District regulations at a meeting in the near future.

ADJOURNMENT

The meeting adjourned at 10:33 p.m.
