<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />Minutes <br /> <br />April 27, 1988 <br /> <br />The City Plan Commission held its regular meeting in the Emergency Operations <br />Center of City Hall on Wednesday, April 27, 1988, convening at 7:37 p.m. with <br />Chairman Matthew P. McCauley presiding. <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE <br /> <br />Votin~ Members Present: <br /> <br />Votina Members Absent: <br /> <br />Matthew P. McCauley, Chairman <br />Arnold J. Rice, Jr., Vice Chairman <br />(excused) <br /> <br />Council Members Present: The Honorable Janet Majerus, Mayor, Paul Schoomer and <br />Joseph L. Adams, Jr., Council Liaison. <br /> <br />Staff Present: Frank Ollendorff, City Manager, Al Goldman, Director of Planning <br />and Sarah Elwood, Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br />Chairman McCauley recognized Mayor Majerus who informed those present that the <br />Board of Elections of St. Louis County had certified an election for June 7, <br />1988, in order to decide an increase in the sales tax for St. Louis County as <br />well as a plan for redistribution of sales tax revenue to cities within the St. <br />Louis County tax pool. She emphasized that the importance of this election for <br />the citizens of University City was the redistribution of sales tax revenue which <br />would mean an additional $1.4 million annually for the City. She asked Plan <br />Commission members to participate in a phone bank and informational campaign <br />before the election. She thanked Chairman McCauley and Commission members and <br />those present for their time and interest. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Marsh moved that the minutes of the March 23, 1988, meeting be approved as <br />corrected. Mr. Kendall seconded the motion which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Ms. Kreishman arrived at 7:50 p.m. <br /> <br />APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #265. UNIVERSITY FOREST NURSING HOME. 1301 <br />PARTRIDGE AVENUE <br /> <br />Chairman McCauley informed those present that the Plan Commission had scheduled a <br />public hearing on an application for a Conditional Use Permit by MUNICORP, INC. <br />and the University Forest Nursing Care Center in order to permit construction of <br />a new nursing home facility at 1301 Partridge Avenue. <br />
