<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Minutes - Plan Commission <br />Page 7 <br />August 23, 1989 <br /> <br />Mr. Goldman answered several questions from members of the Plan Commission regarding <br />the application of the text. After a brief discussion, Mr. Rice moved that the Plan <br />Commission recommend approval of the proposed amendment to Section 34-102.4. The <br />motion was seconded by Ms. Kreishaan and approved by a vote of 6-0 with Mr. Safe <br />abstaining. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner informed members that the City Council had taken recent action to amend <br />four site plan approvals: <br /> <br />1. Approved a 12-month extension of time for the Amoco Station remodeling at 7360 <br />Forsyth Boulevard. <br /> <br />2. Approved a 12-month extension for the daycare facility addition at 7140 Olive <br />Boulevard. <br /> <br />3. Approved an amendment to the Watterson College site plan approval at 6665 Delmar <br />Boulevard to provide a small identification sign on the face of the granite panels at <br />the first floor level. <br /> <br />4. Amended the site plan approval for the Glarner Pad & Paper Company bUilding at <br />6282 Olive Boulevard to permit the addition of a fence. <br /> <br />Ms. Kreishman stated that she was concerned about the lack of a time limit on <br />temporary paper signs and suggested that the staff draft an amendment to the Sign Code <br />to provide for such time limits. <br /> <br />Mr. Kendall indicated that he would feel more comfortable when making site inspections <br />relating to issues before the Plan Commission if he had suitable identification. He <br />suggested that the staff look into obtaining identification cards for the Plan <br />Commissioners so that they can properly identify themselves. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:45 p.m. <br /> <br />l___ ...._ <br />
