<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />Minutes <br /> <br />July 24, 1991 <br /> <br />The Plan Commission held its regular meeting in the Emergency Operations Center at City Hall, <br />6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on July 24, 1991. The meeting commenced <br />at 7:30 p.m. with Chairperson Melissa Kreishman presiding. <br /> <br />VOTING MEMBERS PRESENT <br /> <br />VOTING MEMBERS ABSENT <br /> <br />Melissa Kreishman, Chairperson <br />Stephen P. Hill, Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Foxworth moved for approval of the June 26, 1991 minutes. The motion was seconded by <br />Mr. Kendall and the motion passed by a vote of 6 - O. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING FOR CONDITIONAL USE #296 - CARRY OUT RESTAURANT. <br />7701 OLIVE BOULEVARD <br /> <br />Chairperson Kreishman informed those present that the Plan Commission had scheduled the <br />continuation of a public hearing on an application from Paula Brown for a Conditional Use <br />Permit to allow a carry out restaurant at 7701 Olive Boulevard, this matter was carried forward <br />from the June 26, 1991 meeting because neither the applicant nor any representative had shown <br />up. The Chairperson outlined the Commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing <br />conditional use permits and called for testimony from the applicant. <br /> <br />Ms. Paula Brown, 8225 Brenner, the tenant of the building and owner of the proposed carry-out <br />restaurant/catering business explained that she would be operating a catering and carry-out deli, <br />staffed by four people. They will be serving pastas, salads, soda, vegetarian sandwiches and <br />other types of food. Mr. Jon MacGoy, architect for the project, stated that he was representing <br />Ms. Brown and explained that Ms. Brown's business was well established and that she already <br />has many business clients in Clayton. It was established that the proposed use will be replacing <br />the old cookie store on the north-west comer of North & South and Olive. <br />
