Outdoor parking or storage of pickup trucks on any part of a residential lot when partially or <br />fully loaded with items of any nature, unless such truck and its contents are screened from view <br />at normal eye level from any street or adjoining lot. This Section 34-52.4 b. shall be in force <br />for a trial period of six (6) months from the date of passage of this ordinance. <br /> <br />34-52.4 Specifically prohibited uses. Parking or storage of commercial motor vehicles or commercial equipment on any part of a <br />residential lot; except that on any lot improved with one or two family structure, a single <br />commercial motor vehicle shall be permitted to be parked or stored in a carport or garage <br />provided the vehicle does not exceed six and one-half (6lf2) feet in height and the vehicle is <br />owned and duly licensed by a legal occupant of the premises. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Foxworth and passed by a vote of 6 - 1. <br /> <br />General Revisions to the Zoning Code and Subdivisions Regulations <br /> <br />Ms. Kreishman stated that the Commission would consider the submitted proposals from firms <br />offering professional services for revision of the Zoning Code that was tabled at the last month's <br />meeting. Mr. Hill presented letters of recommendation from the applicants' references. Mr. <br />Hill stated that he had not yet received a fee estimate from Booker Associates, although it was <br />requested . <br /> <br />Ms. Kreishman had to leave the meeting prior to voting on this item but stated that she endorsed <br />Mike Weber of Landform Urban Planning Services as her first choice, and Development <br />Strategies as her second choice. Mr. Foxworth stated that he would not be recommending <br />Development Strategies because of their "triage development plan" submitted to the City of St. <br />Louis; he feels that plan was discriminatory against low-income citizens. Mr. Goldman stated <br />that he disagreed that the plan was discriminatory. Mr. Goldman further stated that the plan was <br />not a philosophy of Development Strategies but was a valid development plan to deal with <br />specific urban problems that, never-the-less, do not exist in University City. Mr. Marsh stated <br />that his endorsement of Development Strategies makes no judgement either way about the "triage <br />development plan. " <br /> <br />Mr. Safe moved that the Plan Commission recommend approval of Mike Weber of Landform <br />Urban Planning Services as the Commission's first choice for consultant.
