Prior to receiving an occupancy permit for the new wing, remove former playground <br />pavement and replace with a lawn area. <br />14. Prior to receiving an occupancy permit for the new wing, remove deteriorated <br />playground equipment. <br />15. Prior to receiving an occupancy permit for the new wing, repair and paint fencing. <br />16. Prior to receiving an occupancy permit for the new wing, remove volunteer growth along <br />fences and at west end of sloped area. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Foxworth and passed by a vote of 5 to 0, with all members <br />voting "aye." <br /> <br />Discussion of the 1986 Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />The Plan Commission discussed several aspects of the existing 1986 Comprehensive Plan. Ms. <br />Ratner reviewed the preface and stated that she wants the commission members to read Part I <br />thoroughly before the next meeting so that they can update the goals set forth in that section. <br />Mr. Goldman suggested that revised land use and transportation plans be developed. Mr. <br />Goldman stated that he would draft a memorandum, prior to the next meeting, outlining his <br />suggestions. <br /> <br />Other Business <br /> <br />Mr. Hill stated that a letter was received from Cathy Lander-Goldberg of Picture Your Kid, <br />6380 Delmar, Unit A and Monica Ashe of Robbi's Custom Leather Goods, 6378 Delmar, 2nd <br />Floor. Both are second floor tenants in the Loop and wish to address the commission about <br />changing the ordinance that restricts signage to ground floor tenants only. Ms. Ratner suggested <br />that the women be permitted to address the commission at the next meeting. The Loop Special <br />Business District should also be informed of the matter. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer gave an update of recent City Council activity. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Mr. Solodar moved that the Plan Commission meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded <br />by Mr. Smith and passed by a vote of 5 to 0 with all members voting "aye." The meeting <br />concluded at 9:35 p.m. <br /> <br />m-4-26.plc <br />
