<br />PLAN COMMISSION <br />Minutes <br />October 23, 1996 <br />The Plan Commission held its regular meeting in the E.O.C. room located in the basement at City <br />Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on October 23, 1996. The meeting <br />commenced at 7:30 p.m. with Chairperson Solodar presiding. <br />Voting Members PresentVoting Members Absent <br />A. Walsh <br />Council Liaison Present <br />: Larry Lieberman, Council Member <br />Staff Present <br />: Al Goldman, Director of Planning; Frank Hill, Zoning Administrator <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairperson Solodar stated that the Commission would now consider approval of the minutes from <br />the September 25, 1996 meeting. Mr. Lieberman stated he was not present at that meeting. Mr. <br />Price moved for approval of the September 25, 1996 minutes as amended. The motion was seconded <br />by Mr. Foxworth and passed by a vote of 5 to 0 with all members voting "aye" (Mr. Smith was not <br />present for this agenda item). <br />Resubdivision: 425 N. Hanley, Lot 3 of Block B of Bemiston <br />Chairperson Solodar announced that a hearing was scheduled concerning an application from Rick <br />Fox, Broker Associate of Rothschild Development, 4746 McPherson, St. Louis, MO 63108 <br />representing Kent and Kim Boyer of 425 N. Hanley, University City, MO 63130. <br />The Chairperson noted the Commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing resubdivisions. The <br />Chairperson called upon the applicant. <br />Mr. Fox gave an overview of the proposed resubdivision. He wishes to subdivide the 100' wide lot <br />into two 50' wide lots in order to construct a house on the vacant lot. <br />Chairperson Solodar called on Planning Director Al Goldman to provide the staff report. Mr. <br />Goldman stated that the application for the resubdivision of Lot 3 of Block B of the Bemiston <br />Subdivision into two 50 foot wide lots can be considered to meet the requirements of Section 29-4(d) <br />of the University City Municipal Code for resubdividing which requires that the resulting lot areas <br />and widths be in substantial conformance with the prevailing pattern of existing development on the <br /> <br />
