<br />PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />Minutes <br />February 26, 1997 <br />The Plan Commission held its regular meeting in the E.O.C. Room located in the basement of City <br />Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on February 26, 1997. The meeting <br />commenced at 7:30 p.m. with Chairperson Solodar presiding. <br />Voting Members PresentVoting Members Absent <br />A. Walsh <br />Byron Price <br />Larry Self <br />Staff Present <br />: Al Goldman, Director of Planning; Frank Hill, Zoning Administrator <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairperson Solodar stated that the Commission would now consider approval of the minutes from <br />the December 11, 1996 meeting. Ms. Peniston stated that the word "uses" should be changed to <br />"areas" and the word "be" should be moved to before the word "located" in third sentence of <br />paragraph four on page 4. The word "be" should be inserted after the word "shall" on condition #6 <br />on page 5. Ms. Peniston moved for approval of the December 11, 1996 minutes as amended. The <br />motion was seconded by Ms. Glassman and passed by a vote of 6 to 0 with all members voting "aye." <br />Hearing: Map Amendment (Rezoning), 1525 North & South, "LC" - Limited Commercial <br />District to "SR" - Single Family Residential District <br />Chairperson Solodar announced that a hearing was scheduled concerning an application for Map <br />Amendment (Rezoning) at 1525 North & South form "LC" - Limited Commercial District to "SR" - <br />Single Family Residential District. The application was filed by the Ecumenical Housing Production <br />Corporation (hereafter EHPC) in care of Chris Krehmeyer and represented at the meeting by Walter <br />Jones, 7477 Delmar, University City, MO 63130 and Jerry Meyer, The Meyer Co., Inc., 16211 Bent <br />Tree Dr., Chesterfield, MO 63005 Rita Buckley, 7281 Sarah, St. Louis, MO 63143. <br />The Chairperson noted the Commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing map amendments. <br />The Chairperson called upon the applicant. <br />Jerry Meyer of The Meyer Co. gave an overview of the proposed rezoning stating that the purpose <br />is to re-orient the lots toward Milan and build a one-story single family dwelling there. EHPC will <br />retain ownership of the home and lease it out. <br /> <br />
