<br />PLAN COMMISSION <br />Minutes <br />June 25, 1997 <br />The Plan Commission held its regular meeting in the E.O.C. Room located in the basement of City <br />Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on June 25, 1997. The meeting commenced <br />at 7:30 p.m. with Chairperson Solodar presiding. <br />Voting Members PresentVoting Members Absent <br />A. John Solodar, ChairpersonJohn P. Walsh <br />Susan Glassman, Vice ChairpersonLarry Self <br />Mickey Peniston <br />Byron Price <br />Etta Jackson <br />Staff Present <br />: Al Goldman, Director of Planning; Frank Hill, Zoning Administrator <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairperson Solodar stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from the <br />April 23, 1997 meeting. Ms. Peniston moved for approval of the April 23, 1997 minutes as amended. <br />The motion was seconded by Ms. Jackson and passed by a vote of 4 to 0 with all members voting <br />"aye" (Ms. Glassman arrived after this agenda item). <br />Hearing: Rezoning (Map Amendment) “SR” - Single Family Residential District to “PD” - <br />Planned Development District, 501, 509 and 515 North & South <br />Chairperson Solodar announced that a hearing was scheduled concerning an application for Map <br />Amendment (Rezoning) at 501, 509 and 515 North & South from "SR" - Single Family Residential <br />District to “PD” - Planned Development District. The application was filed by the Manco Builders, <br />Inc. represented by Mark Manlin, 677 Craig Road, Ste. 130, St. Louis, MO 63141-1142. <br />The Chairperson noted the Commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing map amendments. <br />The Chairperson called upon the applicant. <br />Mr. Mark Manlin stated that he wished to combine the three lots and construct a three-story <br />condominium complex on the property. In order to do that the property needs to be rezoned to “PD” <br />- Planned Development District. He gave an overview of the proposed <br />Chairperson Solodar called on Zoning Administrator, Frank Hill to provide the staff report. Mr. Hill <br />stated that <br />a request has been received from Mr. Mark Manlin representing Manco Builders, Inc. to rezone <br />from "SR" - Single Family Residential to "PD" - Planned Development, three lots located on the west side <br />of North and South Blvd. at the south city limits: 501, 509 and 515 North and South Blvd. Mr. Manlin <br />proposes to construct a two building, three story condominium complex. The site will be 195 feet by 137 <br />feet, totaling 26,715 square feet. A public hearing for this application will be held at the City Council <br /> <br />
