<br />PLAN COMMISSION <br />Minutes <br />January 28, 1998 <br />The Plan Commission held its regular meeting in the E.O.C. room located in the basement of City <br />Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on January 28, 1998. The meeting <br />commenced at 7:30 p.m. with Chairperson Solodar presiding. <br />Voting Members PresentVoting Members Absent <br />A. Walsh <br />Helton Reed <br />Council Liaison Present <br />: Larry Lieberman, City Council Member <br />Staff Present <br />: Frank Ollendorff, Acting Director of Planning; Frank Hill, Zoning Administrator <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairperson Solodar stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from the <br />December 10, 1997 meeting. Mr. Self moved for approval of the December 10, 1997 minutes. The <br />motion was seconded by Mr. Walsh and passed by a vote of 6 to 0 with all members voting “aye.” <br />Resubdivision/Lot Consolidation, Final Plat Approval, 501, 509 and 515 North & South (Lots <br />15, 16 and 17 of New Delmar Heights) <br />Chairperson Solodar announced that a hearing was scheduled to consider an application from the <br />Manlin Company, c/o Mark Manlin, 677 Craig Road, Suite 130, St. Louis, MO 63141-7125, and <br />represented by engineer, Ken Scheffler, Clayton Engineering Co., 12755 Olive Blvd., Suite 100, St. <br />Louis, MO 63141-6200. The application is for the consolidation of three lots at 501, 509 and 515 <br />North & South (Lots 15, 16 and 17 of Block 2 of New Delmar Heights) into one lot to be known as <br />consolidated Lot 15 of Block 2 of New Delmar Heights. The applicant will construct two-nine unit <br />apartment buildings that will be subdivided into condominiums after construction is complete. The <br />site plan review for the new construction has been approved by the City Council. <br />The Chairperson noted the commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing resubdivision <br />applications and called on the applicant. Mr. Scheffler gave an overview of the proposal. <br />Chairperson Solodar called on Acting Director of Planning, Frank Ollendorff to provide the staff <br />report. Mr. Ollendorff stated that if the application meets the requirements stated in the memo from <br />Mr. Hill dated January 22, 1998, the plat conforms with the minimum standards and requirements of <br />Chapter 29 of the Municipal Code dealing with subdivisions.
