October 1,1998, Plan Commission Minutes Page 4 of 4 <br />Hearing: Vacation of Utility Easements and Right-of-Way, 1 McKnight Place, 8644, 8645, <br />8648, 8649, 8653, 8656 (double lot) West Kingsbury, and 8638 Barby <br />Chairperson Solodar announced that a hearing was scheduled to consider a proposal from the <br />City of University City to vacate and surrender: <br />a)a portion of the right-of-way of West Kingsbury Avenue, near One McKnight Place, but <br />reserving any public utility easements (Bill No. 8402); <br />b) a utility easement in Lot 22 of Barby Lane, near One McKnight Place (Bill No. 8403); <br />and <br />c) a portion of a utility easement in One McKnight Place (Bill No. 8404). <br />Mr. Price moved that the Plan Commission recommend approval of Bills No. 8402, 8403 and <br />8404. The motion was seconded by Ms. Glassman and passed by a vote of 5 to 0, with all <br />members voting “aye.” <br />Discussion of Comprehensive Plan Revision - Public Information Program and Public <br />Opinion Survey Results <br />Mr. Walker discussed staff progress on the Public Information Program and Public Opinion <br />Survey Results. Several different options were discussed by Commission Members and noted by <br />Mr. Walker. <br />Discussion of additional Plan Commission tour of University City <br />It was decided that another tour of the city was unnecessary at this time. <br />Adjournment <br />Ms. Glassman moved for adjournment.
