October 1,1998, Plan Commission Minutes Page 3 of 4 <br />Plan Commission Work Session: Resubdivision, 8328 Delmar and 8301 Delcrest <br />Chairperson Solodar announced that a Plan Commission Work Session was scheduled to <br />consider a proposed resubdivision filed by the Medve Group, Inc. to consolidate two lots at 8328 <br />Delmar and 8301 Delcrest and a strip of adjacent land into a single lot for future development of <br />an apartment complex. <br />Mr. Hill gave the staff recommendation that the applicants proceed to the preliminary plat stage <br />per his September 17, 1998 memo. <br />Jakob Medve - President, Elaine Medve - Vice President of Marketing, Mark Hirschman - <br />Acquisition and Development Manager and Pat Lundergan - Project Manager, appeared on <br />behalf of the Medve Group, Inc. 8251 Maryland, St. Louis, MO 63105. They gave a brief <br />overview of the project. <br />Ms. Glassman moved that the Plan Commission recommend that the applicants proceed to the <br />preliminary plat stage of the resubdivision. The motion was seconded by Mr. Price and passed <br />by a vote of 5 to 0, with all members voting “aye.” <br />Hearing: Resubdivision, 1 McKnight Place, 8644, 8645, 8648, 8649, 8653, 8656 (double lot) <br />West Kingsbury, and 8638 Barby, the Gatesworth Addition Subdivision <br />Chairperson Solodar announced that a hearing was scheduled to consider the application of <br />McKnight Place Partnership I, L.P. represented by Robert Leonard preliminary and final plat <br />approval to consolidate nine lots into one lot to be known as the Gatesworth Addition <br />Subdivision. The consolidation is proposed in order to build an addition to the existing <br />apartments for the elderly at 1 McKnight Place. The lots to be consolidated include 8640, 8644, <br />8645, 8648, 8649, 8653, 8656 (double lot) West Kingsbury, and 8638 Barby. <br />Mr. Hill gave the staff recommendation that the application be approved per his September 16, <br />1998 memo. <br />Robert Leonard, 1 McKnight Place, University City, MO 63124 appeared and gave an overview <br />of the project. <br />Ms. Glassman moved that the Plan Commission recommend approval of the preliminary and <br />final plats for the Gatesworth Addition Subdivision.
