January 27, 1999 and February 3, 1999 Plan Commission Minutes Page 2 of 4 R. Neil Brown gave an overview of the proposal for a retail shop with a customer drop-off in the rear of the building. He asked that the application be approved. Mr. Hill gave the staff recommendation that the application be approved per his January 22, 1999 memo. Chairperson Solodar opened the public hearing and asked for testimony from the public. No members of the public indicated a desire to speak, so the public hearing portion of the meeting was closed. It was determined the word “restaurant” needed to be changed to “retail store” in proposed condition #2 and that the words “in operation” should be changed to “open” and the phrase “view from the street” should be added in proposed condition #6. A vote on the matter will occur at the next meeting (minutes attached at the end of these minutes). Hearing: Resubdivision / Lot Consolidation, 8301, 8307 and 8315 Delcrest, 8321 8325 and 8329 Delcrest, 88326 and 8328 Delmar - Preliminary Plat Chairperson Solodar announced that a hearing was scheduled to consider the application for preliminary plat approval of The Medvi Group, Agents for Dupont Gardens Associates, owners of the property located at 8301, 8307 and 8315 Delcrest, 8321 8325 and 8329 Delcrest, 88326 and 8328 Delmar, for lot consolidation of Lots 16, 17, 18 and part of Lot 19 of the Delcrest Subdivision. Mr. Jacob Medvi, 8251 Maryland, Clayton, MO 63105, gave an overview of the project stating that the purpose of the lot consolidation is to construct a portion of a new multi-family apartment complex. Mr. Hill gave the staff recommendation that the application be approved per his January 22, 1999 memo.
