<br />PLAN COMMISSION <br />Minutes <br />July 19, 2000 <br />The Plan Commission held the regular meeting in the E. O. C. Room located in the basement of <br />City Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on July 19, 2000. The meeting <br />commenced at 7:30 p.m. with Chairperson Glassman presiding. <br />Voting Members PresentVoting Members Absent <br />Susan Glassman, Chairperson Larry Self, Vice Chairperson <br />Byron PriceJimmie Irons <br />Deborah Arbogast <br />Harley Smith <br />Tony Credit <br />Staff Present: <br /> Lehman Walker, Director of Planning and Development; Frank Hill, Zoning <br />Administrator <br />Council Liaison Present: <br /> Wayne Munkel, Councilperson <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairperson Glassman stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from <br />the June 28, 2000 meeting. Ms. Glassman stated that the name “Russel” should be changed to <br />“Rossel” on page 3. Mr. Smith moved for approval of the June 28, 2000 minutes as amended. <br />The motion was seconded by Ms. Arbogast and passed by a vote of 4 to 0 with all members <br />voting “aye” (Mr. Price was not present for this agenda item). <br />Continuation of Public Hearing: Conditional Use Permit Amendment #228(A), Gas Station <br />/ Convenience Store, 7498 Delmar <br />Chairperson Glassman announced that there had been a public hearing on this matter held on <br />June 28, 2000 and it was continued in order to give the applicant a chance to revise a canopy plan <br />and to offer a change in the proposed hours of operation for a convenience store / gasoline <br />station. The applicant is Mubeen Investments Group, Inc., 19 Marsally Dr., St. Louis, MO 63131 <br />represented by Mubeen Mahmood. The applicant requests an amendment of the conditional use <br />permit in order to construct a new convenience store building and to reconfigure the layout of the <br />gasoline station at 7498 Olive. The former Shell Station will now be a Mobil Station. <br /> <br />
