<br />PLAN COMMISSION <br />Minutes <br />November 8, 2000 <br />The Plan Commission held the regular meeting in the E. O. C. Room located in the basement of <br />City Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on November 8, 2000. The <br />meeting commenced at 7:30 p.m. with Chairperson Glassman presiding. <br />Voting Members PresentVoting Members Absent <br />Susan Glassman, Chairperson Larry Self, Vice Chairperson <br />Byron PriceJimmie Irons <br />Deborah Arbogast <br />Harley Smith <br />Tony Credit <br />Staff Present: <br /> Lehman Walker, Director of Planning and Development; Frank Hill, Zoning <br />Administrator <br />Council Liaison Present: <br /> Wayne Munkel, Councilperson <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Chairperson Glassman stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from <br />the October 25, 2000 meeting. Mr. Price moved for approval of the October 25, 2000 minutes. <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Smith and passed by a vote of 5 to 0 with all members voting <br />“aye.” <br />Hearing: Rezoning / Map Amendment, 8654 Barby <br />Chairperson Glassman announced that a hearing was scheduled to hear a rezoning / map <br />amendment application from Deutsch Family Investments, LLC represented by Charles Deutsch, <br />One McKnight Place, University City, MO 63124. The applicant requests that the property <br />known as 8654 Barby Lane be rezoned from “SR - Single Family Residential to “HRO” - High <br />Density Residential / Office District. <br />Ms. Glassman noted the Commission's procedures and criteria for rezoning / map amendment <br />applications. <br />Charles Deutsch gave an overview of the proposal. He asked that the application be approved. <br />Mr. Hill gave the staff recommendation that the application be approved per the October 31, <br />2000 memo. <br /> <br />
