PLAN COMMISSION Minutes November 13, 2002 The Plan Commission held the regular meeting in the E. O. C. Room located in the basement of City Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on November 13, 2002. The meeting commenced at 7:30 p.m. with Chairperson Arbogast presiding. Voting Members PresentVoting Members Absent Deborah Arbogast, ChairpersonLarry Self, Vice Chairperson Jimmie IronsRosalyn Borg Harley Smith John Kreishman Steve Myers Council Liaison Present: Arthur Sharpe, Jr., Councilperson Staff Present: Lehman Walker, Director of Planning and Development and Frank Hill. Zoning Administrator Approval of Minutes Chairperson Arbogast stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from the October 23, 2002 meeting. Mr. Smith stated that he should be shown as being present at the meeting. Mr. Smith moved for approval. The motion was seconded by Mr. Myers and passed by a vote of 4 to 0 with all members voting “aye.” Chairperson Arbogast stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from the October 30, 2002 meeting. The motion was seconded by Mr. Myers and passed by a vote of 4 to 0 with all members voting “aye.” Public Hearing: Conditional Use Permit, Daycare in “IC” - Industrial Commercial District, 6646 Vernon Chairperson Arbogast announced that a public hearing was scheduled to hear an application from University City Children’s Center, 7745 Olive, University City, Missouri 63130, represented by Stephen Zwolak, Executive Director. The applicant requests that an daycare use be office use be approved at 6646 Vernon. The Chairperson noted the Commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing conditional use permits and amendments to them.
