PLAN COMMISSION Minutes December 11, 2002 The Plan Commission held the regular meeting in the E. O. C. Room located in the basement of City Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on December11, 2002. The meeting commenced at 7:30 p.m. with Chairperson Arbogast presiding. Voting Members PresentVoting Members Absent Deborah Arbogast, ChairpersonJimmie Irons Larry Self, Vice Chairperson Harley Smith Steve Myers Rosalyn Borg John Kreishman Council Liaison Present: Arthur Sharpe, Jr., Councilperson Staff Present: Lehman Walker, Director of Planning and Development; Andrea Riganti, Planner Approval of Minutes Chairperson Arbogast stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from the November 13, 2002 meeting. Mr. Smith moved for approval. The motion was seconded by Mr. Self and passed by a vote of 6 to 0 with all members voting “aye.” Chairperson Arbogast stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from the October 30, 2002 meeting. Mr. Smith moved for approval. The motion was seconded by Mr. Myers and passed by a vote of 4 to 0 with all members voting “aye.” Continuation of Public Hearing: Conditional Use Permit, Daycare in “IC” - Industrial Commercial District, 6646 Vernon Chairperson Arbogast announced that a continuation of the public hearing was scheduled to hear an application from University City Children’s Center, 7745 Olive, University City, Missouri 63130, represented by Stephen Zwolak, Executive Director. The applicant requests that an daycare use be office use be approved at 6646 Vernon. The Chairperson noted the Commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing conditional use permits and amendments to them.
