Said landscaping plan shall be finalized prior to the first residential <br />occupancy permit being approved. <br /> <br />5. Lighting of all exterior areas, including the front parking area, shall comply with the <br />requirements of Section 34-93.7 of the Zoning Code, and shall be designed to be compatible <br />with surrounding areas by shading to direct light downward and away from abutting uses. <br /> <br />6. Drainage and grading arrangements shall be approved by MSD and the City Public Works <br />Department. <br /> <br />7. A detailed construction traffic control and parking plan should be submitted to the Director of <br />Planning for approval. Said plan shall set forth details pertaining to worker and resident <br />parking during all phases of the proposed construction. It shall further detail solutions to <br />public property maintenance issues such as street cleaning and traffic diversion. Said plan <br />shall be finalized prior to the issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Marentette and passed by a vote of 4 to 1 with Mr. Myers, Ms. <br />Borg, Ms. Ricci and Mr. Marentette voting “aye” and Mr. Kreishman voting “nay.” <br /> <br />Ms. Ricci moved that the application for map amendment, rezoning 965 Midland from “SR” - Single <br />Family Residential District to “PD” - Planned Development District and 7201 Balson from “LC” - <br />Limited Commercial District to “PD” - Planned Development District, be approved. The motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Marentette and passed by a vote of 4 to 1 with Mr. Myers, Ms. Borg, Ms. Ricci and <br />Mr. Marentette voting “aye” and Mr. Kreishman voting “nay.” <br /> <br />Discussion of the Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Walker gave an over view of recent developments in the revision of the comprehensive plan <br />update. Shelley Welsch, Councilperson spoke of developments with the Economic Development <br />Committee. <br /> <br />Other Business <br /> <br /> <br />Kay Drey, 515 West Point and Ted Heisel 6267 Delmar stated that they wish the City to oppose any <br />more construction of cell towers and submitted several documents for the Plan Commission to peruse. <br />Members received information on political signs. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br /> <br />Ms. Borg moved for adjournment.
