<br />PLAN COMMISSION <br />Minutes <br />December 22, 2004 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Plan Commission held their regular meeting in the E.O.C. Room located in the basement of City <br />Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on December 22, 2004. The meeting <br />commenced at 6:30 p.m. with Chairperson Pro Tem Ricci presiding. <br /> <br /> <br />Voting Members Present Voting Members Absent <br /> <br />Lynn Ricci Deborah Arbogast, Chairperson <br />Harley Smith Steve Myers, Vice Chairperson <br />Rosalyn Borg John Kreishman <br />Charles Marentette <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> Lehman Walker, Director of Planning and Development and Frank B. Hill, Zoning <br />Administrator <br /> <br />Chairperson Pro Tem <br /> <br /> <br />The Commission decided that Ms. Ricci would act as Chairperson Pro Tem since neither the <br />Chairperson nor the Vice Chairperson were able to attend the meeting. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />The Chairperson Pro Tem stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from <br />the October 27, 2004 meeting. Ms. Ricci moved that approval of the minutes be postponed until the <br />January meeting in order to allow her to look at her notes concerning some items. The motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Smith and passed by a vote of 4 to 0 with all members voting “aye.” <br /> <br /> <br />Hearing: Map Amendment - IC to PD, 6668 Vernon <br /> <br /> <br />The Chairperson Pro Tem announced that a hearing was scheduled concerning an application from A. <br />L. Amos and Associates c/o Ned Amos, 1204 Washington, Suite 420, St. Louis, MO 63103. The <br />applicant wishes to amend the zoning map for the property located at 6668 Vernon from “IC”- <br />Industrial Commercial District to “PD” - Planned Development District. <br /> <br />The Chairperson Pro Tem noted the Commission's procedures and criteria for map amendment <br />applications. The applicant gave an overview of the application and asked that it be approved. <br /> <br />Mr. Hill gave the staff recommendation that the application be approved per the Staff Report. <br />However, the permitted use should be changed from “garden apartment” to “elevator apartment.” <br /> <br />The Chairperson Pro Tem asked for comments from members of the public. No members of the <br />public wished to speak and the hearing was closed. <br /> <br /> <br />
