<br />November 9, 2005 Plan Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Page 40f4 <br /> <br />e. Enforcement <br />(1) This ordinance shall be consistently enforced without regard to the <br />content of the sign. <br />(2) Private Property. In no event shall any University City employee remove a <br />political sign located on privately owned property unless and until the candidate or <br />his/her campaign committee have been given notice of the alleged violation and had a 48 <br />hour opportunity to contest the validity of the notice. Any contesting of such action shall <br />be made to the Zoning Administrator. <br />(3) Street Right-of-Way/Public Property. If the sign is placed over or in a <br />street right of way, on public property or on property owned by University City, an <br />employee designated by the City manager shall notify the candidate or sponsoring <br />organization of the improper placement of the sign and University City may direct <br />an employee to remove the offending sign. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Marentette and passed by a vote of 5 to 1, with Mr. Myers, Mr. <br />Marentette, Ms. Ricci, Ms. Borg and Mr. Kreishman voting "aye" and Mr. Smith voting "nay." <br /> <br />Text Amendment: Municipal Code Section 2.57 Residential Infill Review Board <br /> <br />The Vice Chairperson announced that the hearing was scheduled to hear an application from the City for <br />an amendment to Municipal Code Section 2.57 concerning the establishment of the Residential Infill <br />Review Board. The Vice Chairperson noted the Commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing text <br />amendments. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner gave an overview of the proposal. Vote on the proposal was tabled until Mr. Wagner and Ms. <br />Brot could submit revisions of the ordinance. <br /> <br />Other Business <br /> <br />An informational submission for Clayton-City Apartments / Clayton-City Condominiums (south side of <br />Forsyth at the west City Limits) was discussed. No other business was discussed. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Mr. Smith moved for adjournment.
