Using the IRB is not mandatory, it is not required, it can <br />only review and make a recommendation; it is a tool to help the residents and developer settle <br />disputes in an amicable way. <br /> <br />Municipalities throughout the country, other than those that have no building codes or zoning codes, <br />are dealing with this serious issue of preservation vs. unbridled development. U City is not alone in <br />addressing the issue. I believe the IRB Ordinance is the right way to begin to address the problem. <br /> <br />I believe that the establishment of an In-fill Review Board will be an asset and enhancement to the <br />orderly development ofU City in the future and is what the citizens want.
