Provide the resources <br />necessary for a dedicated economic development professional within City <br />government focused entirely on economic development activities. <br />According to the City Charter, staff organization is the <br />responsibility of the City Manager. Unless the Charter is modified it is <br />not appropriate to include this recommendation. <br />40. p. 45, see 13 after the words "take advantage of this <br />opportunity and ... "change "consider" to "ensure". <br />This recommendation needs to be further developed, studied, and <br />public/private input obtained prior to the City committing to the <br />concept. <br />"Ensure" implies a commitment. <br />41. p. 46, under Existing land Use Conditions, 2nd paragraph, last sentence <br />coordinate data with p. 28 under Planning Context. <br />Page 28 refers to single family and multi-family development, <br />while page 46 refers to single family. <br />42. p. 51 1st full paragraph coordinate data with p. 46 and p. 28. <br />See comments for #41. <br />52. p. 87, Table 19, under the category column it would be useful to readers <br />to include the technical designator for each category, such as Single- <br />Family (SR). <br />In land use planning, the land use designations are generally not <br />abbreviated so that confusion between land use designations and <br />zoning designations is avoided. Single-Family (SR) is a zoning <br />category. <br />57. pp.100-104, Table 20. Under the column marked "Responsible Parties" <br />· R-5 add the words "Create an Infill Review Board" (first column) <br />· H-2 change to read: "Create and support an Infill Review Board" <br />The concept of an infill review board is being considered by Plan <br />Commission. See comment #9. <br />
