PLAN COMMISSION Minutes September 27, 2006 The Plan Commission held their regular meeting in the EOC Room in the basement of City Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on September 27, 2006. The meeting commenced at 6:30 p.m. with Chairperson Myers presiding. Voting Members Present Voting Members Absent Steve Myers, Chairperson Rosalyn Borg John Kreishman, Vice Chairperson Harley Smith Charles Marentette Mike Miller Tom Byrne Council Liaison Present : Byron Price, Councilmember Staff Present: Lehman Walker, Director of Planning and Development; Frank Hill, Zoning Administrator; Andrea Riganti Approval of Minutes The Chairperson stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from the August 23, 2006 meeting. Mr. Kreishman stated that his name was misspelled on Page 2. Mr. Myers moved for approval of the minutes amended. The motion was seconded by Mr. Miller and passed by a vote of 6 to 0 with all members voting “aye.” Public Hearing: Comprehensive Plan Update The Chairperson announced that the Commission would now consider an amendment tot he Comprehensive Plan Update of 2006. Andrea Riganti, Manager of Planning Services, discussed the proposed amendments. City Council referred several items back to the Plan Commission for consideration as future amendments/revisions. Three items are up for consideration this evening. 1. Plan Commission has been asked to review Redevelopment Area 3 and determine if a revision to the designated redevelopment areas is warranted. Specifically, Plan Commission must consider whether any additional residential areas to the north of Olive Boulevard at Hafner Place should be considered for inclusion in a redevelopment area.
