Lighting of all exterior areas shall comply with the requirements of Section 34-93.7 of the <br />Zoning Code, and shall be designed to be compatible with surrounding areas by shading to <br />direct light downward and away from abutting uses. <br />7. Drainage and grading arrangements shall be approved by MSD and the City Public Works <br />Department. It shall be the applicant’s responsibility to obtain those approvals in written <br />form in a timely manner prior to issuance of the building permit. <br />8. A detailed construction traffic control and parking plan should be submitted to the Director <br />of Planning for approval. Said plan shall set forth details pertaining to worker and resident <br />parking during all phases of the proposed construction. It shall further detail solutions to <br />public property maintenance issues such as street cleaning and traffic diversion. Said plan <br />shall be finalized prior to the issuance of a building permit. It shall be the applicant’s <br />responsibility to obtain those approvals in written form in a timely manner prior to issuance <br />of the building permit. <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Marentette and passed by a vote of 6 to 0 with all members <br />voting “aye.” <br />Hearing: Text Amendment to Section 34-102, 103.4 and 106.2 Perpendicular Signs in the <br />Loop <br />The Chairperson announced that a hearing was scheduled concerning an application from the City <br />concerning a text amendment to allow signs perpendicular to the buildings in the “CC” - Core <br />Commercial District. <br />Mr. Hill gave an overview of the proposal and asked that it be approved. The Chairperson asked <br />for comments from the members of the public.
