The number of signs, described in subsection 5 of this section, shall be limited to one sign per candidate, civic campaign issue, or other noncommercial message for each street frontage. b. Height. In the “SR” single-family residential and “LR” limited residential districts, the signs described in subsection 5 of this section shall be limited to ground-mounted signs and shall not exceed a height of four feet. In all other districts, wall-mounted signs may not exceed a maximum height of twenty (20) feet and ground-mounted signs may not exceed a height of three feet from the bottom of the sign to ground level. c. Area. The gross area of the signs, described in subsection 5 of this section, shall not exceed five square feet in area per sign for each ten thousand (10,000) feet of lot area, provided any sign exceeding twenty (20) square feet in such area shall be set back a minimum of twenty-five (25) feet from all street right-of-way lines. d. Sign Display Time Limitations. In the case of signs associated with political and other noncommercial civic campaigns, such signs may be displayed thirty (30) days prior to and seven days after the campaign for which intended. In cases where a final election follows within one hundred (100) days of a primary election, those candidates who won in the primary election may continue to display their signs during the interim period and up to seven days after the final election. (All numbered paragraphs in the code section above shall be renumbered.)
