April 25, 2007 Plan Commission Minutes Page 3 of 3 <br />Ms. Borg and Mr. Kreishman stated that they were pleased that staff, the neighbors and the applicants <br />were able to meet in the interim period to work out the details of the design of the cul-de-sac. <br />Ms. Borg moved that the Plan Commission recommend approval of the revised Preliminary Plat as <br />presented with the recommendation that a “waiver” should be granted by City Council per Section <br />16.080.050 of the Subdivision Regulations concerning the radius of the cul-de-sac (as presented in the <br />version dated “March 14, 2007”) and also that the final version of the Preliminary Plat show 8668 West <br />Kingsbury as a separately platted lot (which the applicants have agreed to do and will submit a final <br />version of the Preliminary Plat at a later date showing that as such). Otherwise, all Preliminary Plat <br />approvals remain as previously approved on December 27, 2007. The motion was seconded by Mr. <br />Miller and passed by a vote of 6 to 0 with all members voting “aye.” <br />Election of Officers <br />The Commission elected Mr. Myers as Chairperson and Mr. Kreishman as Vice-Chairperson. <br />Other Business <br />It was decided that the previously scheduled May 9, 2007 meeting would be canceled due to lack of <br />applications. The next scheduled meeting will be June 27, 2007. <br />Ms. Borg asked that the minutes be more detailed and that more detailed directions to the subject <br />properties be put in the packets. <br />Mr. Walker stated that in the future the commission will be holding some study sessions on <br />supplementary subjects such as sustainable design. If anyone has other subjects which should be <br />studied please submit them to staff. <br />No other business was discussed. <br />Adjournment <br />Mr. Myers moved for adjournment.
