PLAN COMMISSION Minutes August 22, 2007 The Plan Commission held their regular meeting in the E.O.C. Room located in the basement of City Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on August 22, 2007. The meeting commenced at 6:30 p.m. with Chairperson Myers presiding. Voting Members PresentVoting Members Absent Steve Myers, Chairperson n/a John Kreishman, Vice Chairperson Rosalyn Borg Tom Byrne Charles Marentette Mike Miller Nova Felton Council Liaison Present : Byron Price, Councilperson Staff Present: Frank Hill, Zoning Administrator / Manager of Current Planning Approval of Minutes The Chairperson stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from the June 27, 2007 meeting. Ms. Borg moved for approval of the June 27, 2007 minutes. The motion was seconded by Mr. Myers and passed by a vote of 5 to 0 with all members voting “yes” (Ms. Felton and Mr. Miller were not present for this agenda item). Hearing: Resubdivision - Condominium, 8415 Gannon and 8417 Gannon The Chairperson announced that a hearing was scheduled concerning an application from Edmund W. Essen, 8415 Gannon 63130 for final plat approval creating 2 condominiums units at 8415 and 8417 Gannon. The Chairperson noted the Commission's procedures and criteria for reviewing subdivision plats. Larry Wurm, James Engineering, 10811 Big Bend, St. Louis, MO 63122 appeared as representative of the applicant. Mr. Wurm gave an overview of the proposal and asked that it be approved. Mr. Hill gave the staff recommendation that the application be approved per the Staff Report. The Chairperson asked for comments from the members of the public. No members of the public wished to speak. Mr. Miller moved that the Plan Commission recommend approval of the final plat.
