<br /> <br />PLAN COMMISSION <br />Minutes <br />November 12, 2008 <br /> <br /> <br />th <br />The Plan Commission held their regular meeting in the 4 Floor Meeting. Room located at City <br />Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on November 12, 2008. The meeting <br />commenced at 6:30 p.m. with Chairperson Marentette presiding. <br /> <br />Voting Members Present Voting Members Absent <br />Charles Marentette, Chairperson Tom Byrne, Vice Chairperson <br />Lisa Greening Ben Halpert <br />Mike Miller <br />Nova Felton <br />Ben Senturia <br /> <br />Council Liaison Present: Terry Crow, Councilperson <br /> <br />Staff Present: Lehman Walker, Director of Community Development; Frank Hill, Manager of <br />Current Planning <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />The Chairperson stated that the Commission would consider approval of the minutes from the <br />October 29, 2008 meeting. Mr. Miller moved for approval of the minutes. The motion was <br />seconded by Ms. Greening and passed by a vote of 5 to 0 with all members voting “yes.” <br /> <br />Text Amendment and Design Guidelines Approval - Olive Blvd Design Guidelines <br /> <br />The Chairperson announced that a hearing was scheduled to hear an application from University <br />City for approval of the Olive Blvd Design Guidelines and several text amendments associated <br />with their approval. <br /> <br />The Chairperson noted the Commission’s procedures and criteria for reviewing text <br />amendments. Mr. Walker stated that the guidelines establish the basis for the future physical <br />development of Olive Blvd including building facades, parking landscaping, sidewalks and street <br />improvements. He gave an overview of the applications and asked that they be approved. <br />Documents reviewed included Olive Boulevard Design Guidelines: Executive Summary, <br />reduced versions of supplementary posters, the Olive Boulevard Design Guidelines main <br />document and a proposed text amendment memorandum for incorporation into the University <br />City Zoning Code. <br /> <br />The commission discussed matters pursuant to the applications. <br /> <br />q:\wpoffice\wpdata\m-2008-11-12.plc.final.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
