Mr. Byrne motioned that the conditional use permit be approved with the following conditions: 1.The landscaping plan is subject to review of the City Forester and must be approved before the issuance of a building permit. Timing of the installation of said landscaping shall be at the earliest date possible. Landscaping shall be installed and maintained in accordance with the approved plan. 2.Drainage and grading arrangements shall be approved by the Metropolitan Sewer District and the City Public Works Department prior to the issuance of a building permit by the Department of Community Development. It shall be the applicant’s responsibility to obtain those approvals in written form prior to the issuance of a building permit. 3.Ingress and egress must be approved by the City Public Works Department prior to the issuance of a building permit by the Department of Community Development. It shall be the applicant’s responsibility to obtain those approvals in written form prior to the issuance of a building permit. 4.Lighting of all exterior areas, including all parking areas, shall comply with the requirements of Section 34.93.7 of the Zoning Code, be compatible with surrounding areas and be shaded to direct light downward and away from abutting uses. The motion was seconded by Deidre Lewis and passed by a voice vote. Public Hearing: Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Update of 2005 The Chairperson announced that a public hearing was scheduled for an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Update of 2005. Staff recommends the revision of Redevelopment Area 9 to add five parcels (6649, 6637, 6621 Bartmer Avenue and 6630, 660 Crest Avenue) to “Areas Designated for Redevelopment”. No member of the public wished to speak on this item. Ms. Felton moved to approve the amendment, seconded by Mr. Marentette. The motion passed. Other Business Mr. Walker requested a volunteer to serve on the University City/Olivette Joint Redevelopment Task Force. Ms. Felton volunteered for the task force. Adjournment There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:29 p.m.
