Traffic Commission Meeting on September 12, 2001 <br />There was a request to the Traffic Commission to add daytime hour to the current <br />restrictions during the nighttime hours. <br />“The Commission unanimously voted to recommend the request to add the hours of 10:00 <br />a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on weekdays to the current residential permit parking on the 70XX block <br />of Pershing for 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.” <br /> <br />Since September 2002, there is a Parking Prohibition on 7000 block of Pershing Ave. from 10:00 am to <br />2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except by Residential Permit. The <br />sign is posted at the First Home after the businesses southbound and on the barricade northbound. <br /> <br /> Please find attached as well, the Traffic Request Form from Molly Edler (resident at 7011 Pershing Ave.) <br />requesting to maintain the current parking permit system as well as the traffic barrier at the east end of the <br />block. <br /> <br />It is the recommendation of the Engineering Division to leave the parking restriction the way that it <br />is now. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Restrict parking on north side of 7200 block of Pershing (from Wellesley to 100 west of Rossi <br />Ave. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND INFORMATION: <br />For this agenda item, please check minutes from the July 9, 2003 Traffic Commission Meeting. <br />Please find attached written statements from Mr. and Mrs. James Sanders, Willmeda Harris and Angie <br />Becker, all residents at the 7200 block of Pershing Ave. <br /> <br />It is the recommendation of the Engineering Division to leave the parking restriction the way that it <br />is now. <br /> <br />nd <br /> <br />3.No Parking at Intersection 82 Blvd and Appleton Dr. <br /> <br />Please find attached Traffic Request Form submitted by Marcus Hightower, dated July 3, 2003.
