<br />Page #2-AGENDA <br />TRAFFIC MEETING-10/27/05 <br /> <br />Currently, parking is prohibited on Del Lin Drive as follows: <br />Del-Lin Drive: <br /> West side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. On the <br />northeast corner thereof from the east property line at 7347 Northmoor to a line extending five <br />feet north of the access driveway for 7347 Northmoor. <br /> <br />Also, parking is prohibited on the east side of Del Lin, for 25 feet south of Forsyth and on both <br />sides of the entrance of the alley just south of Forsyth. <br /> <br />High commercial traffic may be a result of the Metro construction project. This area is under <br />study because it is in the vicinity of the future Forsyth metro link station. <br /> <br />The engineering division recommends that the request be denied and that the area continue to be <br />studied for possible parking problems due to metro link construction/implementation. <br /> <br />th <br /> <br />4.Approval of Minutes for July 13 meeting and September 14, 2005 meeting <br /> <br /> <br />B. FOR REVIEW AND COMMENTS: <br /> <br /> <br />5.Residential Parking Permit to be implemented in areas near future Metro Link Stations <br /> <br />The City provided the Traffic Commissioners with information regarding future Big Bend and <br />Forsyth Metro Link Stations and existing parking restrictions for streets within ¼ mile from <br />those stations. This information was reviewed during the September 14, 2005 meeting. <br /> <br />th <br />For your information, please find attached the minutes of the October 4, public meeting with <br />residents in the vicinity of the future Big Bend and Forsyth Metro Link Stations. Please review <br />and provide your comments. <br /> <br /> <br />6.Options for Creating parking on Loop North <br /> <br />The City provided the Traffic Commissioners with information regarding seven options for <br />creating parking on Loop North. This information was reviewed during September 14, 2005 <br />meeting. The Traffic Commissioners commented that option #3 was more viable and that <br />parking meters should be installed. Also, due to a future development project, major changes <br />should not be made. <br /> <br /> <br />7.Changes for Traffic Signal on Delmar-Midland <br /> <br />th <br />Please find attached a traffic request from Ms. Jamie Riley Kolsky dated October 4, 2005. Ms. <br />Riley is requesting that the traffic signal be changed to “left on left arrow only”. <br /> <br />Currently, the signal indicates “left turn yield on green” after expiration of the green arrow.
