<br />Page #3-AGENDA <br />TRAFFIC MEETING-10/27/05 <br /> <br /> <br />8.Removal of Sections of Delmar Blvd. and Kingsland Ave. from the St. Louis County Arterial <br />Road System <br /> <br />The Department of Public Works requests that the Traffic Commission review the following <br />letters and provide your comments. <br /> <br />? <br /> <br />Letter dated May 13, 2005 from the County expressing their wish of removing Delmar <br />Blvd. (from Big Bend to the city limits of St. Louis) and Kingsland Ave. (from Delmar <br />Blvd. to Vernon Ave.) from the Saint Louis County arterial road system and maintenance <br />will become the responsibility of the City of University City. <br />? <br /> <br />Memorandum dated July 6, 2005 regarding City maintenance of County Roads <br /> <br /> <br />C. FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES: <br /> <br /> <br />9.Traffic Speeding on Teasdale Ave. between Hanley Road and Bemiston Ave. <br /> <br />Please find attached a traffic form submitted by Jeffrey Zacks dated October 2, 2005. He states <br />that there is a significant volume of traffic speeding on Teasdale Ave. <br /> <br />The City installed “speed limit” signs along the 7500 block of Teasdale and requested that the <br />Police Department begin enforcement. We will review the effectiveness of the signs after <br />several months.
