Northmoor Drive is 24 feet wide and fire department vehicles, special education buses, and
sanitation trucks have not enough clearance to maneuver on the street. The clearance for
the Fire Truck when cars are park on both sides of the street is 11 feet. The width of an
average Fire Truck is 10 feet. When cars are parked on both sides of the street, the doors
of a fire truck cannot be opened.

Therefore, it is the Public Works Recommendation to prohibit parking in one side of the street
in the following areas:
. From 7045 to 7123 Northmoor Dr.
. From Asbury Ave. to City limits to the west.

However, these areas encompass more than the 7200 block of Northmoor and no decision
shall be taken prior to notify the affected residents. Even when the restriction is considered
for the 7200 block of Northmoor only, residents east of Asbury and west of Manhattan should
be contacted since those areas will be impacted if restrictions are implemented.

Notices to residents in the 7200 block of Northmoor were distributed September 30, 2008 to
attend to the meeting and provide their input.

2.
