Please call 505-8563 to confirm <br />your attendance. <br /> <br />AGENDA FOR THE MEETING <br /> <br />1. ChanQe Lindell Blvd. from a one-way to a two-way street from Forsyth Blvd. to approximately 120 feet <br />north of Forsyth Blvd. <br /> <br />On February 25, 2008 and May 5, 2008, the Public Works Department notified the residents and businesses in <br />the 7300 block of Lindell and Forsyth Blvd. of the proposed change for Lindell Blvd. from a one-way to a two-way <br />street from Forsyth Blvd to approximately 120 feet north of Forsyth Blvd. <br /> <br />Public Works Report: <br />This section of Lindell will provide the only ingress and egress to a parking lot at the intersection of Lindell and <br />Forsyth. <br /> <br />Traffic Commission Action Required: <br />Public Works requests that Traffic Commissioners vote on this item. <br /> <br />2. ChanQe the one-way portion of Lindell Blvd. from Asbury to 120 feet north of Forsyth from <br />westbound to eastbound. <br /> <br />Katharina Panjaitan, resident at 7326 Lindell Blvd, requested that consideration be given to changing the one-way <br />portion of Lindell Blvd from westbound to eastbound. The Traffic Commission recommended that the staff notify <br />the public of the assignment of the entire segment of the one-way portion of Lindell Blvd between approximately <br />120 feet north of Forsyth to Asbury to a one-way street north-east bound from south-west bound. <br /> <br />Public Works Report: <br />On May 5, 2008, Public Works notified 240 residents and property owners about parking meter and street <br />direction changes. Public Works also included information about this traffic request. To date, no comments have <br />been received. <br /> <br />Public works recommends that this request be considered a new traffic request and that residents affected by the <br />request be notified specifically about this request. Residents will be invited to the next Traffic Commission <br />meeting to provide comments. <br /> <br />Traffic Commission Action Required: <br />Delay vote until the next Traffic Commission Meeting. <br /> <br />3. Establish ParkinQ Meters on Lindell Blvd. <br />The meters will operate a total of 9 hours daily, Monday through Friday from 9am until 6pm. The meter hourly <br />charge is $.50. The parking time limit is two (2) hours. <br /> <br />On February 25, 2008, the Public Works Department notified 90 residents and businesses in the 7300 block of <br />Lindell and Forsyth Blvd. of various proposed parking meter locations. On May 5, 2008, Public Works notified <br />240 adjacent property owners/tenants about the new proposal for parking meters. <br /> <br />Public Works Report: <br />Public Works met with the adjacent property owners/tenants.
